I colored mascara, it really can give your eyes a real pop of unexpected color. The way I use colored mascara is that I brush on my regular blk. mascara that I'm using at the moment (Chanel- 's it) & "tip" my bottom & top lashes with the colored one. The key to not looking like you stepped out of a 1980's Madonna video is to not use alot of eyeshawdow & let the focus be on the lashes.
Since I've been having such success with the Hard Candy line at Walmart, I thought I'd try their colored mascaras. They have a HUGE selection of colors & diff. types of mascaras. The one here in the picture is 1000 Lashes Fiberized Mascara in Mermaid Teal. I was sooo dissapointed the color is beautiful, but the mascara itself was sucky. The brush hardly picked up any color from the tube & it's was clumpy. It's a shame bc Hard Candy has such awesome colors, oh well-

Model Mirror from Les Tai Tai
These are so freaking cute! They illuminate like a vanity light in your purse! What a awesome idea!! It comes with 10 hrs. of a replaceable battery & a cute black bag to store it in. You press the little button on the side to turn the lights on. The black mirror with the gold skull on it are the most popular, but I wanted something lighter for Summer, so I got the white mirror with the big kiss lips called Pucker Up
There only 25$ & The Dermstore.com is running a great deal right now-FREE 2 day http://www.dermstore.com/profile_Les+Tai+Tai_501431.htm ! Yippe

Hard Candy Fox in a Box ROCKS!

This blush/bronzer comes in a array of color combos, but all of them are superb! I'm really surprised at the color payoff-Hard Candy Cosmetics use to be found in your upscale department stores in the 90's, but now there sold at Walmart!? The packaging is really fun & girly-this one reminds me of Benefits Blushes & Bronzers the way the packaging is made. These are def. keepers. I think that there are around 8$ each.
The one pictured above is Sweet and Spicy

Tarte Lip Surgence in Glisten
I love this lip pencil! It rolls up so there is no need to fumble with a sharpener, & it's really creamy & super moisturizing! The color is a bit sheer, but really nice for a quick swipe at anytime in the day. Sometimes I buy stuff impulsively & don't really use it, but I've been using this constantly

Sara Happ Lip Scrub
I read about The Lip Scrub from Sara Happ in Allure mag., a few days ago and immediately started to look it up. Sara is an awesome female beauty entrepreneur. She saw that there was a need for a lip exfoliator in the beauty industry, so she made one in her kitchen and it's been a hit ever since! The one I got was brown sugar, it's her most popular one, but she has other ones too like almond creme, vanilla, cocoa and a limited edition red velvet which I heard was to die for! They come in a really cute box and it's size is 1oz. for $24 bucks. You only need a tinsy bit because as you use it in a circular motion on the lip for 60 sec. it sorda melts and makes more scrub. You can either tissue it off or rinse. Some people lick it off because it's all natural and made of sugar and jojoba oil. You really don't even need lip balm after because your lips are pretty moisturized. I love this stuff! She recenty came out with a Lip Slip balm that I want to try, but I don't like diping my fingers into jars for product when I'm on the go so I'm gonna have to talk my friend into getting it who's obsessed with lip stuff to try it out =) http://www.sarahapp.com/ I bought my lip scrub from amazon.com it it came in 3days!
see all you need is a very small amt. |
I like that it has a see thru top too |

Hey Birdie!
I usually don't buy clothes from Bebe, but they sometimes have really cute and fun jewelry. I think this bird ring is so fun! It was about $20 bucks at Bebe. It's perfect for the summer

Nail Polish Galore!!
Since Katy Perry came out with her black crackle nail polish it has been really popular. China Glaze came out with I think 6 different crackle colors! You can buy them at Sally's beauty supply locally for about 8 bucks. The white (blizzard) is gonna be sooo awesome for Summer just like the black was for Fall! I haven't used it yet, but another blogger Foxy Locks did and I posted her pics of them here. Go follow her, she's AWESOME! http://imogenfoxylocks.blogspot.com/
FYI the trick with all crackle polish is to apply it when your nails are absolutely, completely dry otherwise you don't get a good crack!
I don't know if y'all have seen Essie at your local CVS, but I was soo stoked to see them in mine! I got Marshmallow which I didn't take a picture of when I had it on a few weeks ago because it was really sheer, ehh-BUT IM LOVING Sand Tropez! It's what I have on now. I was a bit reluctant to get it first because it reminded me of my Chanel Particuliere, which is a grey taupe more suited for fall. This one is more sandy brown, it's the same color of my new purse too! lol Didn't realize that at the time though =))
Last but not least is the new NARS nail polish in Ecume I picked up at Sephora last minute. It's new for Summer and really lovely. It such a pretty white color without looking like whiteout. I can't wait to put it on my toes! It has gotten really good reviews so far and it's limited so go get yours ladies!
