Dior Glow Expert lippie

I've had this lippie for about 2 months now and I'm almost out of it, so I guess that must mean I like it! LOL The color is really not a color at all-it's SUPER sheer. It's supposed to be a lip primer and polish in one. It has a nice texture to it and it's not goopy or sticky at all. With continued use (daily) it claims to "fill in the lines in your lips to make them plumper" they lied! lol It does claim to have hyaluronic microspheres in the gloss which draw intense moisture to your lips, but I not so sure it does? When I first went to use it I thought it was broken because the applicator brush rolled around on my lip when I put it on, but I checked the packaging and it's supposed to do that- it says it has a "revolutionary and exclusive spin-on applicator, which picks up just the right amount of product and then rolls it uniformly onto the lips, provides a delicate massage that enhances the benefits of the formula.
Overall I like the lipgloss, but probably wouldn't buy it again because I could find another one that was the same for less than it's 30 dollar price tag.

NARS Multiple Stick in Lamu

I LOVE NARS and have lots of products that they sell, but possibly this is one I should have left at the counter for $39 bucks? I want Orgasm to work on my skin tone so bad, but it's a bit too light for me. I even have Super Orgasm blush and the original Orgasm blush, but nothing-still too light! SOOO when I went to try the Multiple stick in Orgasm it was again too light. The sales girl tried this one me in LAMU & it was cute. I wanted to use it as a highlighter on top my cheek bones, but when I looked in the mirror in the car it was full of glittery flecks! Yes I could see them at the counter, but they were way more intense in the car, EKK! I kept it because I'm a sucker for NARS and figured I'd find some use for it. I've been using it on my lips on top lipgloss-it makes a nice topper and I use it as a highlighter when I go out at night.
Go check out the story behind how the multiple was born, really cool!

NOTD (nail of the day)

$6.00 a bottle
This was the perfect Easter color polish! Eyeko makes such cute colors & they really are pigmented! There's not a whole lot of polish in the bottle, but def. enough to do at least 10 manicures with. It's such a true "lilac" NOT Barney purple. You can order from Eyeko online & I believe they ship from London. It's really inexpensive & they constantly have good deals or promos running. http://www.eyeko.com/eyeko-products-nails-c-21_27.html

Vintage Bobby Pins

$4.75 for a set of 2
I got these a few months ago from Etsy, they are so sweet. The seller on Etsy is very vintage. http://www.etsy.com/people/veryvintage?ref=ls_profile
She makes over 100 different bobby pins! The only issue I've had with these is that they don't really hold my super fine hair well by themselves. I have to use a reg. bobby pin in addition to the one I use here to hold my hair, but it blends in with my hair color, so no biggie.

Almay's Smarty Pants Powder! LOL

I was on the hunt for a new pressed powder that wasn't high end, so I went to my fav drugstore-CVS and came across Almay's Smart Shade Smart Balance Pressed Powder. I was drawn to it's funny looking dots =? The Almay brand isn't a brand that I would normally use or try, but lately they have really been on the cutting edge with their makeup technology, like their award winning smart shade makeup. This is bad, but I tend to think of them as a "old lady" makeup brand....ekkk! lol
The idea behind the powder is that it's supposed to "take the guess work out of finding the right powder shade." It has "Shade sensing pigments that deliver the perfect shade transformation"?? AND the "white swirls, contain microspheres to help keep your oily areas shine-free and dry areas softly hydrated" interesting, right?! What I also loved about the powder was that it comes with a sweet little brush to use NOT a pad/puff that actually spreads the oil. My concern was that I'm pretty dark right now from tanning & I didn't want to look too white or chalky. It comes in 2 shades. I obviously took the darker one. I LOVE it! It's a very transparent powder & the brush is really nice to use. I sweep a little under my eyes & over my cheeks & nose. I'm really liking this one alot =)  Def. takes off the shine!

Sephora Eyeliner 502 is a Perfect day eyeliner

I really wasn't looking for a eyeliner but I kinda stumbled into this one. It was only 5 bucks and really smooth. You can even use it as a cream shadow or primer for powder eyeshadow. The color is really nice too. Very appropriate for work. Not too flashy but just enough to show. It has a brown base with a hint of pewter. There isn't a name for the eyeliner it's number 502. Let me know what you think ladies =)

Just some stuff I'm lovin'!

I'm not a real fan of Clinique, it was the very first cosmetic line I worked for so it hold a special place in my heart. lol
I saw this in Lucky Mag. last month and I thought that this was a brillant idea! Bottom Lash Mascara! It's sometimes so hard to get those bottom lashes especially the ones in the corner. I've been using it for a few days and it's really nice. it was worth my 10 bucks!

Benefit's Erase Paste is my new concealer! It looks orangy in the picture but it really isn't. It's very moisturizing and gives med./full coverage. I returned Sephora's brand of concealer because it sucked and was too dry under my eyes. Benefit's gives just the right amount of moisture. The only bad thing is, is that they have only 3 colors to choose from so it doesn't give a wide range. I'm in the darkest color which is deep #3. I wish they had something in the middle of #2 med and #3 deep becausego@blogger.com in the fall it'll be too dark for me and I'll have to hunt for a new one =(

Opi Texas Collection is so pretty for Summer, but this one is my fav! it's called Guy Meets Gal-veston! It's a pretty sheer coral color. I have only 2 coats here in the picture, but I could have went for 3-I wanted to keep it sheer. It's sorda like Cajun Shrimp but alot more see-thru and with a jelly finish. I bought it at Regis Hair Salon in the mall for 8 bucks!

What's inside my Birch Box??

I found out about Birch Box frm another blogger about 3 months ago and was sooo excited I signed up ASAP! Basically, it works like this: for 10 bucks a month you get 5 or 6 deluxe sized samples of  really high end products for you to try and possibly buy. If you do buy the full size amount you earn pts. towards your next purchase. The high end products was what really drew me to sign up! We're talking NARS, Dr.Gross, Perricone, Kiehl's, Korres and on and on.....
You set-up your profile and they asking basically if your a Makeup girl or Skin care freak??!! I'm somewhat caught in the middle? So, the 1st two boxes I picked skincare and that is mostly what my samples were geared towards. This next month I changed it to makeup, so we'll see what that brings me. It so awesome though because it's like Christmas each month and the anticipation of what's in my box is fun!  http://www.birchbox.com/
I wanted to wait and do a review after I got my 2nd box because I wanted to make sure that this was legit and the samples were worthy of my 10 bucks. This months box was ok,. I really like the Suki exfoilating foaming cleanser. It smells like lemons & tastes like sugar- (not that I purposefully licked it, but it was on my lip =/ lol) this is something that I would see myself buying a full size of. I could use it in conjuntion with my beloved LHA cleanser!  I also got a (basically) full sized Zoya nail polish in Dove whick looks just like my Concrete Jungle by Resuce Beauty. It's a really nice grey tone, but I wanted something more Spring. The box this month was in honor of Earth Day, but the plastic marketing piece that Zoya but in the box was not very earth friendly.  https://www.sukiskincare.com/v6/products/exfoliate-foaming-cleanser.html

I can't wait to see what I get next month!!!

2 of my new favorites for April

My friend introduced me to this Narcissus oil at Whole foods. Oil's last so much longer than EDT's and this one from Nemat international is  100% alcohol free which equals pure oil. They come in 2 sizes, ranging form $8-$15 bucks. If you haven't ever smelled Narcissus before it resembles a blending of jasmine with hyacinth. It's Super pretty and floral. Narcissus is said to be influenced by the magic of Venus, the goddess of love. It has long been used to manifest new relationships or enrich current ones.

I'm soo stoked about this new hair mask from Naturelle KeraPro Restorative intense treatment for dry to very dry hair. I don't have dry hair really, but my ends are SUPER dry! I use a CHI flat iron everyday so I needed this! I've been using it for about 2 weeks and really do see a difference. It has advanced glucose, lipid and keratin protein actives in the conditioner. I wash my hair first then use a shower cap on top to seal in the moisture from the steam of my shower for 5 min. rinse in cool water and Ta Dah! It's silky smooth!! You can get it from Sally's either in store or online for about 10$ bucks. Let me know what y'all think of it =)Oh P.S. it smells good too

Reviews & News!

Heyyy ladies! I'm ALWAYS on the hunt for the perfect under eye concealer. It's hard to find the right blend of moisture and stay-ability, sometimes (most of the time) concealers are too dry and I have to use a bit of under eye cream to get the right consistency. So, I saw the Covergirl & Oil of Olay Simply Ageless on a YouTube video that this girl was raving about. I decided to try it when it was on sale at CVS. I thought that it would be great because you can see the ribbon of creamy moisture running through it. I was sadly dissapointed =( It didn't do a good job at all, it was very dry and had me pulling at my under eye to get it blended right. I used it for a few weeks now but still it's not living up to it's expectations. Oh well. on to the next!

Rosewater & Glycerin spray is my new fav thing for the summer! I got it at Wholefoods. It smells so pretty and really is moisturizing, but at the pool I was spraying my friend and she said that it was a bit sticky? I haven't had that issue yet. I have been using it like you would use MAC's Fix Plus or Evian spray after your makeup to get the powdery look off. It must be a decent brand because when you read the back of the label it says that the "water was raised to a higher energy to be more beneficial"?? Whatever works! =)

I think I was drawn to this mascara because it was hot pink! LOL This is Rimmel's Glam Eyes Day 2 Night mascara with 2 brushes for the price of one! One brush is volume the other is for length. Ladies, don't waste your money on this one. The brush for length is ok, not too great and the brush for volume SUCKS! It's a clumpy mess! Totally wrecks my lashes and makes them look like spider legs-not a good look! lol

I'M BACKK!!! YIPPEE!

I've been on a little hiatus from blogging, but not collecting and reviewing! lol
I had to take my state board RN test & get situated working my new schedule. Thanks for all the new followers and people that come and scope out my blog on the regular!! I can't wait to share with you all the new goodies I've come across!! Let me get started =))

LHA SkinCeuticals

I was on the hunt for a good cleanser that didn't cost a ton & got the job done. The cool thing that drew me to this face wash was that it combines glycolic acid, and salicylic acid to decongest pores, smooth irregularities, and brighten skin. I purchased it from Earthsaver's locally which is a day spa, but you can buy it online as well. I have super oily, acne (in some areas) with lg. pores. My skin needed help ASAP! I have used ALOT of washes before but never really saw results like this before, no kidding! For 36$ my face appears brighter overall. If you have sensitive skin this might not be the one for you OR you can use it like 3 days a week. It doesn't foam up alot like most washes do, but that's ok because that means that it doesn't have alot of soapiness in it like glycerin- which are just fillers. You can instantly feel the coolness & (don't take this the wrong way) sting of the acids working! LOVE! I'm not gonna bore you with how it works on your skin on a cellular level-you can read that on your own, but it's really sophisticated and cleaver!

OPI Teenage Dream is a super sought out collection that Katie Perry is behind. I bought the Crackle polish ( I'll review later) and this one. They were the 2 best ones in the collection. I love glitter just like the next girl, but this nail polish takes it to a whole other level! It's a grow-up way to wear glitter polish without looking like a preteen! It has a pink base with multi-color glitter flecks & 3-D glitter throughout that glisten in the sun. Sometimes when a nail polish has this much glitter in it it gets goopey and doesn't spread, but this one goes on evenly and not too thick. It about 8$ a bottle.  I actually bought mine from Regis in the mall, random. I'm thinking I might layer this over a magenta pink Deborah Lippmann I have!

I exfoliate pretty much everytime I shower and I'm always looking for a easier way to do it-I was in Macy's and saw that Lush had body buffers. The one that I got is the most popular one, Buffy Body Butter. It smells like coco butter. This is the issue though-it's super greasy =((  I'm so sad because I was really expecting good things from this. It's made with shea butter, & ground up almonds and rice. It made my shower super slippery & didn't do much exfoliating-just made a mess. I even bought the 2 dollar canister to store it in so that it doesn't get ucky.I'll link the site in case you wanna check it out. http://www.lushusa.com/shop/products/body/body-butters/buffy
Lastly, since I'm on this coco butter kick I've been totally addicted to Palmer's Coco Butter in the roll up stick! I've always used the stuff in the tub, but the swivel stick is soo handy. I swipe it under my eyes and use it to thin out and moisturize my concealer  && it can be used as a lip conditioner!. LOVE this stuff! Everyone should have one-I think they are only 2 bucks max at your local drugstore. Run ladies and get one!! LOL
